Bukti Pembohongan (iv)
Menurut pakar sejarah, Diari Anne Frank juga palsu kerana sebahagian daripada diari itu ditulis menggunakan pena mata bola. Pen seperti itu belum lagi wujud pada zaman itu.
Petikan ini diambil daripada salah satu halaman diari Anne Frank :
Yang pertama pada 14 Jun 1942
“During recess I passed out cookies to my teachers and my class... I went to gym with the rest of my class. As it was my birthday, I got to decide what game my classmates would play, and I chose volleyball. Afterward they all danced around me in a circle and sang ‘Happy Birthday’.”
Yang kedua pada 15 Julai 1944
“Deep down, the young are lonelier than the old. I read this in
a book somewhere and it’s stuck in my mind. As far as I can tell, it’s
true... Anyone who claims that the older folks have a more difficult time in the Annex doesn’t realize that the problems have a far greater impact on us. We’re much too young to deal with these problems, but they keep thrusting themselves on us until, finally, we’re forced to think up a solution, though most of the time our solutions crumble when faced with the facts. It’s difficult in times like these.”
“deals, dreams, and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality... It’s utterly impossible for me to build my life on a foundation of chaos, suffering and death. I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness, i hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too, I feel the suffering of millions.”
Daripada isi kandungannya, timbul lah persoalan mengenai kesahihan diari tersebut :
•Berlaku perbezaan gaya bahasa tulisan sewaktu beliau berumur 13 tahun yang masih cenderung remaja tiba-tiba langsung menjadi seseorang dengan gaya penulisan yang sangat dewasa.
•Sehingga hari ini masih terdapat dua edisi diari Anne yang memiliki isi yang sangat berbeza.
•Menurut David Irving, sangat tidak mungkin seorang remaja menulis begitu dewasa, dan diari itu lebih mirip sebuah novel.
•Keanehan lainnya adalah penulisan diari pada saat waktu peperangan adalah sesuatu yang menjelikkan. Kemungkinan tidak ada kanak-kanak yang sempat menulis diari jika berada dalam keadaan suasana perang.
